Kat, kat, Katmandu is what Marilyn really, really did do!

Jewelry denotes wealth.  Can you find the cat?

**If you cannot access the photos, please let me know.  Now that I know the meaning of some, I will add comments in another post.

Marilyn, world traveler and world class photographer is home from Nepal.  Her photos are linked below and more details will be forthcoming when she completes her journal.  What an adventure!  What a brave lady!  I recommend that you crank up that old Bob Seeger song, "Katmandu"; brew a large cup of hot tea or coffee and enjoy your magical, mystery tour compliments of Marilyn.

A few photos of Nepal, starting in the airport at Abu Dhabi and continuing on to Kathmandu and the Helambu Region north of K. We trekked approx. 37 miles, with total ascending 8000ft and descending 10,600 feet ~ often doing 1000 ft up or down per mile. Very steep going. Weather very changeable, people delightful, food quite good, facilities primitive by our standards but an incredible experience. Not for the faint of heart, couldn't recommend it to many I know but proud to have it in my book of accomplishments.Marilyn
